Join facilitator, Ellen Hogan, OTL's Accessibility Technologist for Learning and Instruction, and co-facilitator, Paula von Kretschmann, OTL's Instructional Designer for Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), to discuss and prepare for your Winter 2022 term. The session will be focused on the connection between accessibility and UDL, as well as highlight some of the key steps that can be taken to create more accessible course materials.
This session will be hyflex - feel free to attend in person at the OTL Office (Anderson Academic Commons OTL Conference Room 345) or online via zoom (link included below). This is will be a 45-minute presentation on the different types of commonly used DSP student accommodations. Although there will not be break-out opportunities, there will be an opportunity for Q and A towards the end. This session will be recorded, so even if you are unable to attend synchronously, the recording will be emailed afterward to all participants who register. The recording may also be used on our OTL website in the future.
